Construction Field Operations Administrator

Location: Richmond, VA

Department: Construction

Reports To: Construction Senior Field Operations Administrator

Position Overview Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Construction Field Operations Administrator to support field operations and project teams. This role ensures smooth coordination between field and office operations, managing onboarding, jobsite requirements, reporting, and administrative workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage new hire onboarding including drug screens and system entry
  • Coordinate temporary labor, scheduling, and documentation
  • Track safety training and compliance
  • Coordinate jobsite requirements (badging, safety registrations, etc.)
  • Support job setup, resource planning, and documentation
  • Maintain reports and provide Procore support
  • Prepare 8-week lookahead reports
  • Serve as liaison between field and office teams
  • Assist with company events and administrative support

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in administrative or construction environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Experience with Procore or similar systems
  • Experience supporting construction field teams Work Environment Primarily office-based with interaction across field teams. Occasional exposure to construction environments requiring PPE
