The Windham Regional Career Center is seeking a person to fill the role of Registrar and Administrative Assistant. The person in this position is responsible for reporting state data, managing attendance, supporting the career and technical education admissions process and software, welcoming visitors to the center, interacting with staff and students, and supporting the center director. Reports to: This position reports to the Windham Regional Career Center Director QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of PowerSchool, Google Platform, and Microsoft PlatformWillingness to Learn the Finalsite Admissions PlatformUnderstanding of or willingness to learn PowerSchool scheduling and building master schedulesAbility to compile and interpret dataOutstanding problem-solving skills, including the willingness to ask questions and seek additional informationKnowledge of Career and Technical Education, public secondary education, and Flexible PathwaysAbility to manage multiple projects and changing prioritiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated, ability to work independently, and a willingness to take on new tasks when neededHigher-level organizational skillsAbility to build relationships with a number of stakeholdersResponsibilities & Performance Expectations: Work with the WRCC team to accurately maintain data and other student informationAssist in managing the building of the master schedule in PowerSchoolFulfill State data reporting requirements Work with the WRCC team to gather and interpret student and program data Help manage the organization of administering and data collection for the WorkKeys and other assessmentsAccurately record and report industry-recognized credentials awarded to each studentAssist with the WRCC admissions process and manage admissions dataManage student registration and enrollment Assist WRCC teachers with the required tracking of student placements following graduationTrack and manage Adult Education and Dual Enrollment data with the Coordinators of those programs.Provide clerical, administrative, billing, and scheduling support to the Director of Adult Education, Assistant Director, and Co-op Coordinator as time allowsAct as the first point of contact for visitors and callersOpen the door of the Trade and Industrial Center/Professional Trades Center when students and visitors arrive. Make arrangements for the front desk area to be covered when not presentAct as a liaison between the community, the school, and other internal and external stakeholdersHandle visitor and caller inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate person according to their needsAdhere to rigorous student and staff confidentiality protocols in all circumstancesResponsibility for student attendance records and attendance dataAssist with documentation and information sharing through PowerSchoolWillingness to be trained to support or cover other positions when neededWillingness to take on projects as they ariseMonitor cameras for safety purposesAttendance tracking and lettersEnter and track field trip informationWorking Conditions: The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, and significant fine-motor dexterity.
