GFT is seeking a highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our Administrative Support Center team. This role offers a hybrid work model .
GFT’s Shared Service Services team, which includes Human Resources, Legal, Accounting & Finance, IT Services and Marketing & Communications, is essential for managing and supporting the company's global operations. Shared Services is part of a broader strategy to transform the business and improve efficiency. What you’ll be challenged to do:
You will play a key role in ensuring smooth administrative operations by managing employee documentation, onboarding, and corporate travel while maintaining compliance with company policies. Additionally, you will assist the Project Financial Controls (PFC) and Accounting leadership as needed.
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Process employee new-hire paperwork, change notices, and related documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assisting new hires with timesheet and expense report training as well as ensuring a smooth first day experience.
- Serve as timesheet coordinator for PFC and Accounting staff (300 employees).
- Assist with PA, PC, PFO, SSG, JV and Accounting administrative matters as necessary.
- May fill in and provide temporary support and perform tasks for PA, PC, PFO, SSG, JV and AP.
What you will bring to our firm:
- 0-3 years of experience as an administrative professional
- Intermediate financial background, including accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR) and project accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting systems.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse personalities.
- Ability to assist in the development and implementation of training programs.
What we prefer you bring:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, relevant experience
- Experience in the Engineering, Architecture, or Construction industry
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
