Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant for a direct hire opportunity in Orlando, FL. This onsite role supports a team of attorneys handling employment-related defense litigation before administrative agencies and state and federal courts.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct administrative and litigation support to attorneys handling employment-related defense litigation matters.
- Manage correspondence, phone calls, emails, client communications, court clerk interactions, vendor communications, calendars, and deadline follow-up.
- Assist with all phases of litigation discovery, hearing preparation, arbitration preparation, deposition coordination, mediation coordination, and trial preparation.
- Prepare, format, proofread, bates number, redact, and e-file legal documents with Florida state and federal courts.
- Maintain organized physical and electronic files, support conflict checks and client intake, and coordinate meeting arrangements.
- Process monthly expense reports and assist with time entry review, revisions, and related administrative tasks as requested.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $65,000 to $70,000 per year.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support attorneys in employment-related defense litigation matters from case opening through resolution.
- Coordinate litigation deadlines, calendars, discovery tasks, hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
- Prepare, revise, proofread, bates number, redact, and e-file litigation documents in Florida state and federal courts.
- Manage attorney administrative support, including communications, files, expense reports, and time entry review.
- 3 to 5 years of litigation legal assistant experience, preferably in defense litigation.
- Experience supporting litigation matters in state and federal court environments.
- Strong knowledge of legal document formatting, proofreading, e-filing, bates numbering, redaction, and litigation support procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, calendars, and attorney requests with strong attention to detail.
- Professional communication skills for interacting with attorneys, clients, court clerks, vendors, and internal team members.
- Strong organizational skills, discretion, dependability, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative onsite legal office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting employment litigation defense matters.
- Familiarity with administrative agency proceedings, arbitration, mediation, deposition preparation, and trial preparation.
- Prior experience with conflict checks, client intake support, and maintaining organized electronic and physical litigation files.
