We are looking for a former Navy Lieutenant Commander or above with Navy Program Office/NAVSEA/Pentagon experience providing executive-level analytical, management and administrative support to a NAVSEA program office on-site. Duties and Responsibilities: The Chief of Staff works closely with the PM, DPM and PAPMs (Branch Heads) to anticipate and resolve program office issues; Coordinates with NAVSEA, PEO Ships, Resource Sponsors, DASN and other major stakeholders to respond to taskers, RFI's and other deliverables. Plan strategically; set program office priorities, goals, and objectives; and develop and maintain progress plans. Coordinates responses with PM/DPM/PAPM as required. Provides advice and recommendation on program office milestones and objectives and works closely with the PM and DPM on the program office schedule of events, while maintaining the DASN Ships Master Ship Schedule for shipbuilder long range milestones. Coordinates Program Office business operations including IT, facility requirements, SAAR-N, Security access, Plans of the week, etc. Support the PM and DPM in government and military personnel recognition through detailed research and preparation of quality nomination packages for the various DoD and DoN award programs and assists with military evaluations (USMC/USN). Assists with drafting white papers, program briefs for program milestone and gate reviews and other PowerPoint Briefs/products. Coordinates all front office correspondence package development, ensuring the content is complete and formatting is in accordance with Navy correspondence manual guidelines. Maintains and updates the program office action item and deliverables tracker. Reviews task management with the DPMs and PAPMs. Education and Experience: Former Lieutenant Commander (Mid/Sr grade officer) Experience with US Navy program office/Pentagon support providing acquisition services and expertise for ship and shipboard systems Familiarity with US Navy acquisition process, including regulations, directives, and statutes, the Navy's application of the DoD acquisition process, such as contracting and sea trials, and key naval ship acquisition roles and organizations Active Secret clearance BA or BS degree Additional (Highly Desired) Qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus Navy/Major Staff experience IT skills MS Office Products (PPT, Word, Excel, Outlook) Microsoft Teams MS Planner Sharepoint group id: 90887174 N Name Hidden HR Director Apply now
