We Will Train In-Center Dialysis Facility Administrors (Must be Reg Nurse) and Clinical Coordinors!

The Home Therapy Administror is responsible for the overall daily management and operion of assigned home dialysis modality program(s). The Administror reports directly to first line regional operional management which may be an Area Director, Regional Director, or Vice President of Operions, depending on the region/demographics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.

  • Develop and implement processes for program growth in accordance with Company goals.
  • Implement clinical and operional processes to improve pient health and continuity of care.
  • Oversee equipment management, including equipment tracking and retrieval.
  • Responsible for active Renal Care Options program to ensure pients are educed on all modality options.
  • Achieve financial targets to include budget, labor costs, supply costs and expenditures.
  • Review all incident reports; make recommendions and take action relive to incidents as approprie; report monthly QAPI meeting.
  • Promote quality management program through educion and involvement of staff and pients in outcomes as well as overall responsibility to achieve corpore goals for quality. Leads QAPI meetings and quality improvement committees.
  • Achieve program's target goals for pient outcomes in accordance with quality pient care and Company goals.
  • Assure th the program(s) is in compliance with all applicable federal, ste, and local laws and regulions and receives continuing certificion from all stutory and regulory agencies.
  • May assume Home Therapy Nurse's responsibilities as needed.
  • Establish, maintain, and submit all required records and reports concerning staff, pients, and the operional affairs of the program(s).
  • Plan, coordine, and approve effective and efficient staffing to meet pient needs and regulions.
  • Oversee on-call system for pients; ensure pients have access to nursing support all times.
  • Ensure proper documention of all nursing services in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) including but not limited to training sessions, routine and non-routine in-person interactions, home visits and phone conversions. Documention should accurely reflect the pient stus and nursing interventions and be written to ensure continuity of care.
  • Supervise the maintenance of equipment, building areas occupied by the program and other property belonging to the program.
  • Regular and reliable tendance is required for the position.
  • Monitor all contractual agreements; upde as needed with corpore oversight.
  • Maintain collaborive working relionship with Medical Director and physicians.
  • Oversee communicion of overall results of pient assessment, reassessment, and ongoing monitoring to the physician, team members, and others as approprie to the individual needs of the pient.
  • Effectively communices expections; accepts accountability and holds others accountable for performance.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty sisfactorily.

Requirements include:

  • Demonstred ability to function in a leadership position and to perform in new and emergent situions with sound judgment.
  • Demonstred analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Strong time management and organizional skills required.
  • 1 year previous dialysis management experience preferred.
  • Demonstred working knowledge of the English language and ability to communice verbally and in writing.
  • Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); proficiency in all USRC clinical applicions required within 90 days of hire.
  • For multiple program oversight -- must hold a valid driver's license in the applicable ste. Dependable transportion and proof of valid auto insurance.
  • Ability to meet minimum hiring standards which may include additional background clearances and oriention requirements if applicable to the program assigned to for employment.
  • Must meet applicable, specific ste requirements. (See addendum for Administror)
Additionally, if the nursing requirements listed below are not met, an individual may be placed in the Administror role without them; however, in the absence of these qualificions, there must be a designed Registered Supervising Nurse the clinic who does possess these qualificions:
  • Must be full-time employee of the Company and available to home program staff during time clinic is open.
  • Current RN license in applicable ste. License must be maintained as current and in good standing.
  • 18 months as an RN with 6 months experience in the specific modality of home program.
  • CPR certificion required within 90 days of hire and prior to pient care assignment.
  • Confirmion of ability to distinguish all primary colors.
  • Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable ste. (See addendum for Registered Supervising Nurse)
