Job Details: Location : F&M Campus - Lancaster, PA Classification : Full-time Exempt Schedule : 40 hours, Monday - Friday. May require evenings and weekends. Reports to : Director of Housing Department : Residential Life Approved Salary Range : $48,400 - $52,000 Job Description: The Housing Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the mission and operations of residential life at Franklin & Marshall College. This position provides logistical, and operational support for students living on and off campus and coordinates with campus and community partners in managing off-campus partner housing. The Housing Operations Manager manages the day to day operations of the housing software for new and returning students. Essential Functions: Support the day-to-day management of the housing data-base system. Support the Director of Housing in housing operations including the room assignments, billing, and the room change process. Serve as the point of contact for the management of the housing software, including maintenance, development, application cycle prep, rules, housing forms, and other core functionality. Maintain data integrations/feeds, data integrity, and data collection between the housing software and internal and external systems. Serve as a technical expert on the building and troubleshooting of these integrations and the housing software. Develop student and parent communication through THD and manage the housing email account in partnership with the Director of Housing and Executive Director of Housing & Residential Life. Respond to or forward, as appropriate, inquiries from students about Housing & Residential Life. Manage assignment and administrative procedures in partnership with off-campus affiliated housing partners. Serve as a liaison and representative of the college to student housing partners. Coordinate residential operations related to the opening and closing of residence halls. Meet regularly with Facilities & Operations, Custodial Services, and Student Accessibility Services personnel in partnership with the Associate Director of Housing & Residential Life. Assist the Director of Housing in educating students living in off- and on-campus housing about leases, utilities, and living in Lancaster. Serve as the main point of contact for commuter students and manage the commuter application process and approval. All other duties as assigned. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of experience and training. 3 or more years of experience working in residential life & student housing. Proficiency using software applications including database, spreadsheets, and word processing functions. Excellent oral, written, public presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Attention to detail. Experience developing and executing processes. Proficiency in Google Suite Products (Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Slides, Drive). Evidence of a commitment to community & belonging. Successful interview. Successful completion of background checks. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working within housing data systems such as THD, StarRez, Housing Cloud, or ERezLife. Prior professional work experience working in student housing or residential life. Prior experience using specific systems (Banner, SAP, etc.). Experience with teaching, training or supporting non-technical users in the use of database technology.
