Job Details: Job Duration: 12+ Months Shift: 1st shift (Mon-Fri) Hours: (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) Metatarsal safety boots required Overtime may be required Job Description: Under general supervision, performs clerical office duties such as document processing, report preparation, and data retrieval and filing; responds to standard inquiries referring complex requests to appropriate staff members; analyzes information of intermediate difficulty using individual judgment in the performance of tasks; researches or resolves discrepancies following prescribed procedures; and updates and maintains process documentation. Duties: Retrieves records or data and distributes information as appropriate in order to provide timely and accurate information to department members or external customers. Prepares and maintains documentation of department processes (i.e. number of transactions processed, phone calls received, forms processed, etc.) and runs reports or updates forms according to defined procedures. Contacts customers outside of the work area and receives incoming inquiries; responds to standard inquiries and refers complex requests to appropriate staff members. Produces written correspondence in response to customer inquiries. Compiles data necessary to prepare files or create standard and special reports using defined formats. Verifies the accuracy and completeness of data submissions and forms; enters data into the appropriate system or processes forms according to standard procedures. Performs analysis of basic or intermediate nature on information received, and researches or resolves discrepancies following prescribed procedures. Responsibilities & Requirements: Production of industrial signage, material identification labels, and tooling storage shadow boards. Printing of labels, decals, banners and signage for use throughout the facility Design of print layouts using Adobe Illustrator and other computer design software. Management of print room supplies and raw materials. Coordination with skilled trades for material preparation. External ordering of printing supplies, media, and other consumables. Ongoing maintenance and upkeep of existing factory signage. Support factory organization by performing 5S audits on the shop floor as assigned. Inventory management for 5S keep-fill. Manage inventory of tool holders and components. Procure tooling through internal and external sources. Work with 5S Process Design Specialists and Process Improvement Specialists to develop visual manufacturing solutions for all operations activities. Management of 5S request queue and supporting systems.
