The Firm is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Assistant with 3+ years of supporting Employment Law and Commercial Litigation practices to join our Las Vegas office. In this role, you will work in close partnership with assigned attorneys, supporting matters from inception through resolution while managing a dynamic workflow and delivering high-quality administrative services to our business clients. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage assigned attorneys' calendars, dockets, deadlines, and appointments with a high degree of accuracy Perform e-filing in state and fedral courts, as well as with administrative agencies such as the EEOC and NLRB Coordinate and support litigation matters, including document management, filings, and general case support Screen incoming client calls and correspondence; respond independently when appropriate Draft, format, and prepare emails, confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex legal documents Maintain attorney billing processes Create, maintain, and manipulate spreadsheet data, including use of formulas Maintain organized client files in document management systems and ensure accuracy of records Anticipate attorney needs and proactively manage workflow and priorities Provide back-up support to other legal assistants as nee3ded Perform additional administrative3 and legal support duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably within Employment Law and Commercial Litigation Demonstrated experience supporting litigation matters in a deadline-driven environment; exposure to discovery, filings, and trial preparation is strongly preferred Strong working knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision High level of professionalism in all interactions with attorneys, clients, and colleagues Skills & Competencies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Demonstrated ability to take ownership of work and consistently meet deadlines Proactive, solution-oriented approach with the ability to anticipate needs Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Collaborative mindset with a commitment to teamwork and mutual support Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential client and firm information Technical Proficiency Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (document formatting, styles, tables of contents) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data manipulation Experience with document management systems (e.g., NetDocuments) preferred Experience with billing systems preferred Familiarity with Nuance or similar PDF editing tools is a plus Education High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelor's degree preferred Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including: Medical, dental, and vision coverage Short-term disability, life, and AD&D insurance 401(k) and profit sharing Flexible spending accounts Transit contributions (Salary will be commensurate with experience.)
