Location: Community Care Mount Pleasant Shift: Days (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Worker Type: Regular Exemption Status: No Job Summary: Directs and supervises patient access and clerical support staff. Coordinates and performs front line office activities in an effective and efficient manner for the department. Coordinates schedules, training and education of all assigned staff. Accountable for the performance and alignment of the access and clerical teams to clinic and system goals. Job Duties: Directs and assists with patient access and clerical support to the department. Participates in recruitment, interview, and selection process of patient access and clerical support staff. Coordinates training and orientation programs for assigned staff. Utilizes established metrics to track and report on clerical team performance to clinic leadership. Assures continuing education is communicated to and or attended by all access team members. Conducts performance appraisals and addresses performance problems. Develops and maintains policies and procedures for assigned area. Evaluates operations and recommends and implements changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Responsible for staffing plans and daily schedules; establishes work priorities. Attends all necessary team meetings as a representative of the access team. Work is typically performed in a clinical or office environment. Position Details: Hours: Full time. 8-hour shift between the hours (7:00am-5:00pm with potential for an occasional late night until 7:00pm) Required Experience: Must hold 4 years of supervisory/manager experience. Must hold hold 4 years of related experience.
