Research Administrator - Modelling of Antimicrobial Resistance School of Natural Sciences Location: Lincoln Salary: From 25,949 per annum Please note, this post is fixed-term for 3 months and full-time at 1 FTE. Closing Date: Wednesday 03 June 2026 Interview Date: To be confirmed Reference: CHS321 Seeking a highly motivated student to contribute to an interdisciplinary project on probabilistic modelling of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) across environmental systems. This a great opportunity to gain research experience alongside your studies. The role would suit candidates with: Strong computational skills (e.g. Python, R, or similar) A solid foundation in probability, statistics, or stochastic processes Confidence in running and adapting simulations Experience with modelling, Bayesian or network-based approaches, or uncertainty analysis would be beneficial, but is not essential. What to expect from the role: You will be working on an existing model where some initial development has already been carried out Building on and refining the current model, rather than starting from scratch Running simulations, testing robustness, and exploring different scenarios Interpreting results and contributing to discussions within a multidisciplinary team Working independently and managing your time effectively You will be joining an ongoing project and contributing to model refinement, robustness testing, and scenario analysis, while working within a supportive and multidisciplinary team led by Graziella Iossa.
