EDUCATION PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR
OFFICE OF CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION
NON-STATE SERVICE
Salary Range: $66,944.47 - $100,517.13
Salary will be negotiable and commensurate with experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Education Program Administrator oversees the scheduling of monitoring visits, technical assistance, professional development, and virtual office hours for all staff.
Provides presentations to schools, districts, parents, and other states on dyslexia, MTSS, and the 3 Tiers of Interventions.
Collaborates with offices within the MDE, other state agencies, as well as national organizations to ensure that schools and districts are receiving the most current information and resources available.
Coordinates with the office of procurement to release request for qualifications (RFQ) for dyslexia screeners, request for application (RFA) for dyslexia contract workers, and RFPs for academic and behavior interventions and dyslexia grants.
Oversees the dyslexia scholarship and coordinates with the office of student financial services to ensure the special purpose non-public schools receive their appropriate funding.
Manages the dyslexia grant and ensures that the districts receiving the grant submit data on a quarterly Basis.
Monitors the dyslexia screener data that is submitted yearly on kindergarten and first grade students to ensure that districts are utilizing a state-approved dyslexia screener and to observe how many students are given the screener and how many students fail the screener.
Maintains audit reports on school districts to ensure they are following the appropriate standards for students receiving tiered instruction and support.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Typically requires a Master's Degree and 7+ years of experience.
