Administrative Assistant Construction Industry
Full-Time | In-Office Position
We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support multiple companies within the construction industry. We are looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and capable of handling a wide variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of technical, bookkeeping, organizational, and interpersonal skills. This individual must be able to work effectively with a diversified group of employees while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Responsibilities Include:
Managing and maintaining records in QuickBooks
Assisting with bookkeeping functions to possibly include accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and payroll.
Performing accurate data entry
Organizing and maintaining digital computer files and office systems
Utilizing Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
Handling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Identifying potential problems and offering practical solutions
Performing checks and balances to ensure accuracy in daily tasks
Assisting with various administrative and operational duties as needed
Adapting quickly to new tasks and changing priorities
Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years of office experience required
Bookkeeping background required
Construction industry knowledge strongly preferred
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Extremely detail-oriented, especially with numbers and data entry
Ability to learn quickly and retain information with minimal instruction
Technology proficiency is a plus
Trustworthy, dependable, and comfortable handling confidential information
