Data Entry Clerk Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk who thrives in a structured and accuracy-driven environment. This role is perfect for individuals who take pride in ensuring data integrity and compliance. Responsibilities Accurately enter contract and billing information into Word and Excel templates. Review source documents to confirm billing terms, rates, and effective dates prior to data entry. Verify entered data against original documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness. Maintain organized electronic files and documentation for audit and compliance purposes. Support compliance tracking by ensuring all records are up to date, complete, and easily accessible. Identify and flag discrepancies or missing information for resolution. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate data processing. Essential Skills Proficiency in compliance, banking, data entry, quality assurance, invoicing, audit, regulatory compliance, contract review, and clerical tasks. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow structured processes and maintain confidentiality. Additional Skills & Qualifications 6+ months of experience in data entry, compliance, or billing support. Experience in data entry, billing, administration, or customer service. Good organizational skills. Work Environment Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, in a cubicle setting. There is potential for a hybrid schedule with remote work on Mondays and Fridays, and in-office work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Equipment will be provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lexington, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
