Receptionist Reports to: Assistant Director

General Description: Works under general supervision and provides administrative support in general office functions, such as preparing correspondence and reports, scheduling appointments and maintaining department's files.

Primary Responsibilities:

Be always courteous and exercise diplomacy. Must maintain cooperative and harmonies working relationships with other staff members.

Keep common areas clean and organized.

Clea r's voicemail box on a consistent basis.

Distributes checks and faxes. Sorts, distributes incoming and prepares outgoing mail.

Puts away supply orders.

Maintains filing system (Disability)

Greets visitors and delivers exceptional customer service assistance to internal and external customers.

Receives, screens, and directs incoming phone calls in a friendly, energetic, polite, professional matter.

Performs all other tasks that may be required for position.

Key Job Requirements:

High School diploma or GED

2-3 years secretarial or administrative experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
