JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Explain what the scope of the work/project is? Project Overview, deliverables (what is this person responsible for).
Processing packing slips emailed from vendors (primarily Border States Electric).
Comparing packing slips to purchase orders (POs).
Performing SAP receipts.
Troubleshooting discrepancies with planner buyers, vendors, and field teams.
Later responsibilities may include work order transfers and more complex receiving tasks.
2. What does a typical day look like?
Opening emails from vendors with packing slips.
Entering receipts into SAP.
Handling high-volume data entry (600-1,000+ lines/day team average).
Communicating with planner buyers, vendors, and field employees for issues.
Occasional slow days, but generally consistent incoming volume.
5. Describe work environment / team culture (supportive/collaborative, teamwork or individual contributor)?
Collaborative, supportive, and flexible.
Training done in-person; team communicates frequently.
Goal is accuracy, consistency, and teamwork.

High attention to detail / accuracy.

Administrative Section
1. What is the location of the contract assignment (Full time onsite, hybrid - percent of time on site/home or, are you open to fully remote)? If the resource is expected to be onsite, can you confirm if the resource can park on property/in the ramp?
Hybrid.
Expectation: 3 days onsite (Tue-Thu) at MDC (Materials Distribution Center).
Monday/Friday typically remote.
Training will be fully onsite initially.
Inputs information from a variety of sources into a computer database. Must meet standards for production volume, accuracy, and completeness. Generates reports based on input data. Requires strong attention to detail, and good communication skills, and the ability to work well under various stressful and time-sensitive situations. Ability to follow instructions without supervisory follow-up. Experience with MS Office.
Validate, process, and post packing slips. Obtain vendor documentation as needed. Provide accurate, timely, and high-quality work in a high-volume transactional environment. Identify and resolve problems encountered during receiving and material movement transactions using approved processes and procedures. Must have a basic understanding of Receiving, Purchase Orders, Invoicing, Accounting, and Supply Chain processes/procedures.
