Job Title: Documentation Coordinator

Job Type: Part-time, Long-term Temporary (20-24 hrs per week)

Pay: $20-23 per hour

Position Summary

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting engineering teams? We are seeking a Documentation Coordinator to be the backbone of our project documentation process. In this vital role, you will compile, assemble, and distribute project documentation—including submittals and Operation & Maintenance Manuals. Your accuracy and dedication will ensure projects are documented in accordance with company standards and regulatory policies.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities



    	

  • Collaborate with Engineering and CAD departments to precisely document project components, including dimensions, part numbers, specifications, and maintenance instructions.

    	

  • Utilize printed and electronic catalogs to identify relevant information for engineer-selected parts.

    	

  • Review Bills of Material for part number errors, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

    	

  • Format and present documentation per customer specifications.

    	

  • Gather and organize operation and maintenance materials for key equipment, creating clear and user-friendly manuals.

    	

  • Ship finalized documentation to designated project addresses.

    	

  • Provide clerical support for documentation, quality control, and administrative teams as needed.

    	

  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support project goals.

Experience, Skills, and Educational Requirements



    	

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

    	

  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat).

    	

  • Excellent spelling, grammar, and language skills.

    	

  • Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.

    	

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

    	

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and cope with frequent interruptions.
