Organizes and coordinates projects, conferences, and other events. Provides leadership, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Responsible for performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Determines, coordinates, and supervises daily staffing assignments and staffing levels. Organizes, implements, directs, and evaluates the administration function and performance. Manages scheduling, communication, and documentation to support program activities. Coordinates with various departments to facilitate smooth workflow and collaboration. Prepares and distributes correspondence, forms, reports, presentation materials, and other written communications as required. Compiles and enters information from various sources into computer databases, verifies data, identifies issues, and researches or corrects as appropriate. Establishes and maintains filing systems. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking, and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements. [Required] Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. [Required] Must be able to type at least 25 wpm. [Required] Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. [Required] Knowledge of PowerPoint, Surgery Computer Systems, and other graphics and database programs desirable.
