Job Description:

The Testing Administrator position is directly accountable to the Associate Director of Testing and Accommodations for the following duties and responsibilities. This position will primarily carry out duties at the South Walton Campus and will require cooperation with other college locations as needed to promote student success.

The individual filling this position is expected to play a positive role in helping the College change as necessary to effectively carry out its mission.

  • Possess and demonstrate thorough knowledge of all tests offered at all NWFSC testing centers to include, but not limited to PERT, CLEP, FCLE, ACCUPLACER, HESI, NCCER, TEAS, FAA, Prometric, CPT, DSST, CLM, PearsonVue and any other certifications partners.
  • Proctor above stated exams once proctor training and certification is complete.
  • Responsible for all administration duties pertaining to the online and in person test scheduling platforms.
  • Promptly correspond with all parties involved in a testing appointment, internal and external.
  • Coordinate all third-party testing efforts to include cohort testing within the service area.
  • Actively participate in outreach to strengthen testing opportunities within the service area.
  • Respond to walk-in, telephone, and email inquiries for information on examinations and certification offerings.
  • Oversee the verification of all testing appointments to include proper identification being provided by the tester.
  • Maintain security of all testing materials within the Testing Center and assist with proctoring remote exams from other institutions as needed.
  • Enter test scores promptly and accurately into Banner or other databases for preservation of the student record.
  • Provide basic support and exceptional customer service to students of all ability levels.
  • Professionally extend assistance in any area as needed.
  • File all testing registration forms and score report information in a timely manner.
  • Provide support to Testing and Accommodations leadership as needed.
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of office and education materials forms and supplies used by the Testing Center.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with staff, students, and vendors.
  • Perform all other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required
  • Experience in postsecondary education to include familiarity with testing protocol preferred.
  • Ability to deal with the public, including students and faculty in a positive and effective manner.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
