Waterpark Front Desk Associate

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Front Desk Associate. In this role, you are responsible for maintaining the monetary funds of the waterpark fees, preparing reliable daily financial information, assisting guests, and processing them (indoors and outdoors) as well as Treetop Play areas, and communicating all omissions and deviations to appropriate management.

As part of our team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Loveguiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.

Follow correct credit handling procedures; process orders by recording orders and computing bills.

Be able to perform credit card and room charge transactions

Work outdoors during the season our outdoor waterpark is open.

Assist with ongoing projects, additional job duties as assigned through managers.

What We're Looking For

Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

At least one year of experience in similar guest-facing or serviceoriented industries is preferred but not required.

Must be able to work well in stressful situations.

Must be able to work and be flexible with all shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds when moving towel carts.

Must be computer-savvy and eager to provide excellent service to guests.
