General Description: To assist and support the Business Administrator / Board
Secretary in the administration, management and supervision of the district's Business Office.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in accounting, business administration, or finance, and/or a New Jersey Certified Public Accountant license.
- New Jersey standard business administrator certificate, certificate of eligibility, or meets the requirements to obtain the certificate of eligibility.
- At least five years of successful work experience in the accounting field.
- Knowledge of school finances for the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Knowledge of the state audit program, school budget development & grant administration.
- Prior experience working in a school board office and/or as an auditor for public school districts preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
Reports to: School Business Administrator / Board Secretary
Employment Term: Twelve months
Affiliation: Non bargaining
Salary Range: $85,000-$110,000
