Shift Monday-Friday, 8:00 am EST - 5:00 pm EST additional hours as needed to complete job duties Job Summary The Office of Sponsored Projects Administration ( OSPA ) is seeking a Research Administrator Assistant . This position is eligible for remote work for candidates with prior research administration experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to setting up new sponsored project accounts in the OSPA database ensuring data accuracy before transferring accounts to Research Financial Services ( RFS ) processing account modifications such as no-cost extensions, PI or personnel changes, and budget revisions ensuring all changes and budget revisions comply with sponsor and institutional guidelines before processing resolving post-award issues with award review, account set-up, and associated business processes within area of specialization or responsibility ensuring appropriate documentation of sponsored project proposal and award activities and/or retention per standard OSPA processes to ensure proper proposal and award records, documentation of completed processes, and to prepare UK and PIs for audits The ideal applicant must be highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator, ensuring excellent service and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
