SECRETARY - WV STATE AUDITOR'S OFFICE

Job Location: Capitol Complex 1900 Kanawha Blvd E. Charleston, WV 25305

Salary: Starting at $16.50 per hour; commensurate with experience 20 hours per week (1pm 5pm, Monday through Friday)

Job Overview
Perform basic secretarial duties for the WV State Auditor

Responsibilities for the Secretary Efficient in minute taking using and reading shorthand Clear and accurate typing of letters, memos, reports and similar documents Transcribing of dictation and voice memos Implementing and maintaining an office filing system Answering and directing calls on a multi-line phone system Maintaining an up to date and accurate calendar of meetings and events
Experience and Skills Minimum typing speed of 60 WPM Audio typing proficiency Competent with Microsoft Office Efficient in shorthand Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented High School Education or the GED equivalent
