Southeast Missouri State University Autism Center for Diagnosis and Treatment

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Director, billing specialist, program directors and clinical staff of the Center
  • Answer telephone/fax/emails for the Center and direct inquiries appropriately
  • Scan and file client documentation into their chart
  • Process record requests from outside agencies, parents and schools
  • Update client charts with current information
  • Greet and check in/out clients for services
  • Maintain office and building supplies and equipment
  • Order all testing and therapy protocols/materials for clinical staff
  • Manage reservations for the building and tours of the building
  • Train and supervise administrative student worker(s)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated administrative skills; Medical office setting a plus
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with an electronic record system
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to customer service
