AmeriStaff Employment & Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a Part-Time Professional Clerical Associate in the Martinsville, VA area for a local logistics and construction management company.

Schedule: 2-3 days per week, 8-hour shifts
Pay: $17/hr.
Responsibilities of the Part-Time Professional Clerical Associate:
Process subcontractor payments for construction operations
Prepare, update, and monitor Profit & Loss (P&L) reports
Write checks and execute payments for raw materials from appropriate accounts
Maintain and monitor account balances
Categorize and track raw material purchases
Produce and maintain maintenance reports for company logistics fleet
Maintain DMV records for fleet vehicles
Organize and maintain employee personnel files and customer claims/damage files
Gather and prepare documentation for DOT audits
Assist with onboarding and new hire processes through the employment portal
Send reminders regarding incomplete onboarding tasks and required documentation
Track employee licensure, endorsements, expirations, and renewals
Requirements of the Part-Time Professional Clerical Associate:
Previous clerical and administrative experience required
Experience with QuickBooks required
Understanding of basic accounting principles
Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs
Strong communication and attention to detail
