About the Position: Administers written or computer based Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Enlistment Tests at Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) or other remote testing sites to determine individual qualifications for military service enlistment.

Help
Conducts specified aptitude examination sessions ranging in size from 1 to 40 person (enlistment tests), and 1 to 250 persons (student tests).
Instruct applicants on testing procedures and starts, observes, times, and ends the test or test segment as directed.
Utilize computer systems and software to administer computer-based enlistment and student aptitude tests.
Responsible for the security and accountability of student test booklets, at home, during transport, and at the testing location.

Employee must possess a valid driver's license to conduct test in remote locations or at schools.
This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 100% of the time. This position requires 100% travel away from the duty station to conduct testing in remote locations or at schools.
Incumbent must complete and receive a favorable determination from required background checks.
Incumbent required to lift up to 30 lbs. (Transfer of controlled test material and equipment to/from authorized storage facilities to testing sites, as required.)
Work schedule may require on call duty (evenings, weekends, and holidays).

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. General Experience: One year of general experience. General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled, such as, 1) Presenting oral instructions to individuals and/or groups; 2) Conducting thorough checks to ensure forms are properly completed; and 3) Utilizing automated systems to provide reports/information to others.
OR
Education: Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of by 60. Add the two percentages.
