At ASMSA, our students and programs reach far beyond campusimpacting educators and learners across Arkansas. As the Administrative Coordinator for STEM Pathways & Front Office Operations, you'll play a vital role in keeping that work moving forward.
This isn't a typical administrative role. You'll be at the center of both statewide program coordination and daily campus operations, supporting innovative educational programs while creating a welcoming, efficient front office experience.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
Coordinate communications and provide administrative support for STEM Pathways programs
Maintain program data, rosters, and tracking systems to support reporting and outcomes
Coordinate professional development events from planning through completion
Process purchase requisitions and support operational needs through Workday
Track grant deliverables, timelines, and required documentation
Support program visibility through social media and collaboration with Communications
Serve as the primary front office contact for calls, visitors, and general inquiries
Monitor campus access and support daily front office operations
Receive, log, and distribute packages with accuracy and timeliness
Partner with the Finance Office to ensure proper tracking and reconciliation of deliveries
What You Bring
Associate's degree or equivalent experience, plus 1-3 years in administrative, office support, or customer-facing roles
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Clear, professional communication skills and a service-oriented approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; ability to learn systems such as Workday
Comfort using AI productivity tools, or willingness to develop proficiency
High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
Front office and administrative setting on a residential high school campus
Regular interaction with students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors
Active role requiring coordination across multiple departments
Combination of desk work and movement across campus
Ability to lift and move packages (up to 25-30 lbs.)
