About the Role To Apply for this Job Click Here Location: Groton, CT (Hybrid - 3 days onsite; fully onsite during initial ramp-up) Open to relocation Duration: 6month contract-to-hire Interview Process: Two rounds (virtual + onsite) Role Overview This role supports and maintains Microsoft-based cloud environments with an emphasis on Power BI, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Azure. The administrator will oversee day-to-day cloud operations, contribute to cloud and analytics initiatives, support governance efforts, and provide advanced technical support. Key Responsibilities Cloud & Analytics Platform Administration Administer and support Power BI, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments. Monitor system health, performance, access, and service usage across cloud services. Manage permissions, capacity, and configuration for cloud-based tools. Project & Initiative Support Contribute to cloud-focused projects including platform upgrades, feature enhancements, and environment migrations. Assist with the rollout of new cloud services, applications, and analytics capabilities. Partner with project managers, technical teams, and business users throughout planning, deployment, and stabilization phases. Governance, Security & Compliance Support cloud governance efforts by reviewing new solution requests and deployments. Help enforce platform standards, security controls, and operational best practices. Advanced Technical Support Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 support for escalated issues involving cloud services, Power BI, and end-user access. Troubleshoot complex connectivity, authentication, and service-related problems. Documentation & Optimization Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and support processes. Identify opportunities to improve reliability, security, and operational efficiency. Qualifications 2+ years of experience administering Microsoft cloud technologies (Power BI, Power Platform, M365, and/or Azure). Hands-on experience managing Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive. Background supporting cloud initiatives such as migrations, upgrades, or new platform deployments. Experience providing advanced (Tier 2/3) technical support. Working knowledge of cloud security, governance, and compliance concepts. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365) are a plus.
