Administrative Clerk (Contract - Leave Coverage) Location: Lenexa, KS Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Start Date: Interviews next week immediate need Employment Type: Contract (with potential for permanent placement based on performance and business needs) Client: Aston Carter Partner Company Overview Our client is seeking a reliable and detailoriented Administrative Clerk to provide essential office and salessupport coverage during an upcoming leave. This role requires someone who can step in quickly, learn fast, and confidently manage daily administrative operations in a busy manufacturing office. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fastpaced environment with shifting priorities. Candidates must be able to commit fully to a contract assignment . Key Responsibilities Professionally answer and route inbound phone calls to appropriate departments Support the sales team with administrative tasks, including document preparation, updating records, and customer paperwork Perform accurate data entry, including entering invoices and maintaining organized records Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive or proprietary information Organize and maintain both physical and electronic filing systems Assist with general office organization, supply management, and basic correspondence Provide clerical support such as copying, scanning, and routing documents Collaborate with the Operations Manager and office staff to support daily operations Complete additional administrative tasks as assigned to meet business needs Required Skills & Experience Minimum 1 year of administrative or office support experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail Experience with filing, document management, and general clerical duties Basic understanding of invoice processing and related data entry Professional communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment Ability to maintain confidentiality High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing or similar environment Comfort with office equipment (copiers, scanners, multiline phone systems) Adaptability to changing priorities and crossdepartment support Strong organizational habits and a proactive approach Reliable, punctual, and committed to highquality administrative support Work Environment This role is based in an office connected to a warehouse, offering exposure to both administrative and operational activity. The environment is fastpaced with frequent shifts in priorities. Standard office attire is appropriate, and the position is primarily computerbased with regular interaction across teams. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lenexa, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
