Position Overview
The Receptionist’s role is to provide administrative support to the branch and display a professional manner when dealing with the investment advisors, their team members and clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reception functions:

• Answer and route incoming calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Greet clients and visitors; assess needs and direct them to the appropriate staff member or resource.
• Sort, distribute, and route incoming mail.
• Monitor and triage inquiries received via social media, business cards, and voicemail; escalate or route items as needed.
• Coordinate branch and client meetings, including scheduling support and boardroom setup.
• Maintain meeting rooms to a professional standard, ensuring rooms are clean and appropriately set up.

Administrative Functions:

• Receive cheques from walk-in clients and maintain required tracking documentation for compliance purposes.
• Prepare and complete daily bank deposits in coordination with the Branch Assistant.
• Provide administrative support for branch management projects and initiatives, as required.

Qualifications
• High School Diploma
• 1-3 years working experience.
• Experience in the Finance industry
• Eager to learn new skills and adapt to a changing working environment.
• Operations familiarity within the brokerage industry
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $43,200-50,000.
The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, and the consideration of internal equity.
