Program Support Administrator

Location/Schedule: Winston-Salem, NC; Typical hours are 1st shift, Monday-Friday, with some weekend/evening hours depending upon events/program needs. May be office based or hybrid option, flexibility required to travel for necessary meetings.

Your Impact: As the Program Support Administrator at Crossnore Communities for Children, you will serve as a critical operational partner to the Chief Program Officer (CPO) and the Program Leadership Team. This is a high-level administrative and operational support roll - not a direct service or teaching position. Your work happens behind the scenes, ensuring leaders are prepared, priorities move forward, and communication flows effectively across the organization.

In this role, you will:

  • Keep leadership aligned, organized, and focused on strategic priorities
  • Manage complex schedules, communications, and competing demands
  • Coordinate and track key projects that impact programs and services
  • Build systems and processes that improve efficiency and reduce gaps
  • Your ability to anticipate needs, exercise sound judgment, and execute at a high level will directly support the organization's ability to serve children and families.

Education/Experience/Licensure:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of full time experience required in administrative operational functions including general office tasks, calendar scheduling, record keeping, with knowledge of finance, and task management.
  • Experience supporting Program and Executive level teams/individuals required.
  • Experience with social services organizations, schools, or medical fields is highly preferred.
  • A relevant combination of education and experience may be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Support & Leadership Coordination

  • Manage daily workflow of the Chief Program Officer (CPO) to ensure priorities move forward
  • Serve as a key liaison between the CPO, Program Leadership Team, and stakeholders
  • Anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and manage competing priorities
  • Coordinate and track projects using tools like Monday.com
  • Support cross-team collaboration and communication across program areas

Project Management & Operations

  • Lead and support special projects from planning through execution
  • Create systems and processes to improve communication and efficiency
  • Track progress, deadlines, and deliverables across initiatives
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and data summaries

Administrative & Executive Support

  • Manage calendars, meetings, travel, and logistics
  • Draft and manage correspondence, including sensitive communications
  • Prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and ensure follow-up
  • Coordinate events, meetings, and program-related activities
  • Monitor and triage email communication for follow-up and action

Relationship & Stakeholder Support

  • Serve as a professional point of contact for internal and external partners
  • Support relationship-building efforts aligned with strategic goals
  • Provide high-level customer service to staff, partners, and community members

Hiring Range: $50,000 to $58,000 annually
