Tourism Part-Time/Seasonal Visitor Services Clerk

This position provides support to the Department of Tourism by providing visitor services including staffing visitor information centers and answering visitor inquiries. The work is performed under the direction of the Director of Tourism. Position will require up to 20 hours per week during height of tourism season, and up to 10 hours per week in the winter.
- Staff visitor information centers
- Provide excellent customer service to prospective visitors and visitors in-destination, including answering inquiries via telephone and in person
- Inventory printed visitor information
- Answer telephone and direct calls to necessary staff
- Aid in distribution of visitor guides and tourism marketing material
- Work closely with Director of Tourism and tourism staff on daily tourism activities and projects
- Relieve Tourism staff of administrative tasks
- Other job duties as assigned
- At least 16 years old
- Valid Drivers License required
- Experience or studies in marketing or related field is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be highly motivated, creative, and personable; excellent customer service skills; good time management skills.
