The Town of Marana is seeking a Court Clerk to work in the Marana Municipal Cour t . This is a full-time position and an exciting opportunity for someone interested in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a court setting. The Court Clerk supports and upholds the Town's cultural values by providing excellent customer service and performing court related clerical work to include file management, payment receipting, and document processing.

Expected Hiring Range: $17.87/hour $21.89/hour
- placement within the expected hiring range is dependent on direct experience, internal equity and/or budget
Salary Range: $17.87/hour $25.91/hour
- Greets customers; responds to inquiries from the public; provides excellent customer service.
- Processes citations; schedules civil hearings; maintains the court calendar; creates, maintains and processes court files; prepares correspondence; processes incoming and outgoing mail; processes payments; prepares daily reports; issues abstracts; processes public records requests.
- High school diploma or GED equivalency plus six months of additional education or training.
- Over one year of customer service, administrative support, or closely related experience.
An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience that provides the desired knowledge, skills & abilities to successfully perform essential functions may be considered.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must pass fingerprint clearance background check.
- Complete the Town of Marana background check.
- Must be an Arizona Notary Public or must obtain within six months of hire.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Two or more years work experience in a court setting.
- Experience using the Arizona Supreme Courts AJACS case management system.
- Ability to speak and comprehend Spanish.
