Job Overview:
The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is seeking a healthcare professional to be part of ODM's Interagency Policy Team within the Bureau of Long-Term Services and Supports. The Interagency Policy Team manages the policies and implementation of state-agency contracts, as well as contracts for services used across state agencies. As an Interagency Policy Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Managing the contracts, called Interagency Agreements (IAAs), with the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) and Ohio Department of Health (ODH), including processing payment invoices
Collaborating with DODD, ODH, and Managed Care Entities (MCEs) on the implementation and operations of the IAAs
Working with DODD and internal ODM teams on the implementation and operations of private and state-operated intermediate facilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities (ICFIID)
Drafting policy to establish acceptable procedures, processes, and standards for ICFIID and targeted case management (TCM) services and claims reimbursement covered by Medicaid
Ensuring Ohio Medicaid's State Plan accurately reflects rates and services for applicable services included in the IAAs
Overseeing required deliverables from partner agencies, including the review of data and reports to ensure completeness, and routing for review
Completion of graduate core program in business, management or public administration, public health, health administration, social or behavioral science or public finance; 12 mos. exp. in the delivery of a health services program or health services project management (e.g., health care data analysis, health services contract management, health care market & financial expertise; health services program communication; health services budget development, HMO & hospital rate development, health services eligibility, health services data base analysis).
- Or 12 months experience has Medicaid Health Systems Specialist, 65293. Note: education & experience is to be commensurate with approved position description on file.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment.
