Radiation Oncology
The Receptionist Registrar will:
- Schedule appointments and/or procedures
- Greet and register patients
- Screen incoming calls and determining urgency and how to direct
- Maintain files
Requirements:
- Requires excellent communication skills for the effective and courteous interaction with a diverse group of patients, hospital personnel, physicians and their staff, outside offices, etc. Bilingual ability preferred.
- Requires good office and organizational skills. 2-3 years' experience in an office and patient/customer environment.
- Computer expertise with knowledge of word processing and database software.
- Skills with Microsoft Word and Excel of particular importance.
- Requires the ability to project a positive image through interactions with patients and their families, outside institutions, physicians and other Hospital departments and staff.
- Requires attention to detail and computer accuracy as pertains to data entry and patient scheduling.
