Job Position: Receptionist
Location: WACO, TX 76710
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr.
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm
Position Summary:
The Receptionist serves as the first point. This role requires a friendly, professional individual who can provide exceptional customer service to residents, staff, and visitors while performing administrative duties to support daily operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Greet and assist residents, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to general inquiries.
Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming.
Receive and sort incoming mail and packages; distribute to appropriate staff or residents.
Maintain and update resident and office records as needed.
Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and community events.
Provide support to staff with basic administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and copying.
Report maintenance requests, safety concerns, or other issues to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software.
Friendly and professional demeanor; able to work with diverse populations.
Physical & Work Environment:
Primarily office-based with frequent interaction with residents and staff.
Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
Fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
