We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Department Administrator to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary:
The Purchasing Department Administrator (Purchasing Agent) will provide administrative support to the Purchasing Team, ensuring smooth operation of day-to-day purchasing activities. This role involves handling bidding, contracting, maintaining vendor relationships, managing data in internal systems, and assisting with cost tracking and reporting.
Responsibilities- Prepare, issue, and track bid invitations and bid submission
- Maintain accurate records of vendors, materials, and pricing
- Coordinate communication between purchasing, accounting, and construction teams
- Support the tracking of costs, budgets, and delivery timelines
- Assist with vendor onboarding and compliance documentation
- Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, document preparation, and scheduling
- 3-4 years of administrative experience (experience in construction, homebuilding, or purchasing preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Experience with purchasing or ERP systems is a plus
