Our client, a private equity firm that invests in infrastructure businesses across North America and Europe, is seeking a motivated and warm Receptionist for their NY office. They focus on areas like digital infrastructure, renewable energy, and transportation, and work closely with management teams to help their companies grow and scale for the long term.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$50k - $60k

Position Overview:

The Receptionist will have a welcoming and poised demeanor to help visitors feel comfortable in the space. They will help maintain the front desk area and conference rooms for guests, which include external clients, investors, and internal staff. The right Receptionist will enjoy being the first point of contact and take pride in setting the tone for the office.

Responsibilities of the Receptionist:

  • The Receptionist will greet and welcome guests, ensuring a positive first impression of the firm.
  • Manage the main phone line and direct calls to the appropriate team members.
  • The Receptionist will coordinate conference room scheduling and assist with meeting setup.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
  • Provide general administrative support to the office (supplies, catering, event logistics, etc.).

Required Experience/Skills for the Receptionist:

  • 0 - 2 years of experience in an office setting or relevant internship experience.

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Receptionist:

  • Experience previously working in an office or hospitality setting.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
