At the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, our primary goal is to protect the environment and public health. We do this by ensuring compliance with federal and state environmental laws.
What we need YOU to do:
The Ohio EPA wants you to join our team as a program administrator with the Office of Legal Services (OLS) at our downtown Columbus location.
You're here. We're here.
We are seeking a detail-oriented multitasker to support OLS's vital programming and business functions. We'll count on your attention to detail to evaluate our records retention procedures, maintain files in our Electronic Document System, and monitor the agency's public notice process to ensure notices are published in a timely manner.
You'll liaise with the Office of Human Resources, coordinate staffing and hiring activities, develop and implement staff training, and continue legal education (CLE) opportunities. Additionally, your customer service skills will shine as you handle mail, phone calls, and visitors, along with maintaining office inventory.
Let's revisit the key tasks.
- Support OLS business functions including fiscal controls and expenditures.
- Coordinate with ERAC for appeals made.
