Evening Receptionist 020 - Perth Amboy NJ
Join our Team - Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen - Perth Amboy, NJ
Bilingual (English/Spanish) Receptionist to manage the front desk in Perth Amboy Monday-Thursday from 4:00pm - 8:00pm. Communicate with walk-in clients in English and Spanish for social services and contact appropriate staff. Ensure compliance with front office procedures, security and policies. Conduct building-closing procedures.
Salary: $17.00 per hour
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must be bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish, as well as exhibit a professional and pleasant demeanor.
Must be reliable and punctual and available to work evenings Monday - Thursday from 4:00pm - 8:00pm.
Possibility to increase hours due to overlap and day-time coverage on an as needed basis.
Must be comfortable answering phones and handling a switchboard as well as dealing with a diverse clientele seeking social services.
Must be adaptable with the ability to quickly learn and apply understanding of agency policies and procedures to situations necessitating discretion.
Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision; must exhibit good judgement.
Must be trustworthy and accurate with the ability to process cash, check and credit card payments precisely and utilize myEvolv.
Must be computer proficient and able to quickly learn Agency-specific computer applications.
