The Salon Receptionist provides essential front desk and administrative support for the Cosmetology Departments salon operations at 357 E Main Street location in Klamath Falls. This position is responsible for client-facing tasks such as greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, handling phone and email communication, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized reception area. The receptionist also supports staff and students by relaying messages, and assisting with basic clerical and inventory tasks.
This is a part-time, year-round position which offers up to 30 hours per week during school hours. Hours are scheduled based on departmental needs and individual availability, with time off during official student breaks.

- Provide front desk coverage
- Greet clients in a friendly yet professional manner
- Answer the telephone and respond to voicemails or emails
- Answer questions about available services and pricing
- Address customer concerns or complaints professionally
- Book client appointments
- Relay messages to staff and students
- Inform staff of changes in the days schedule or walk-ins
- Use the Point of Sale (POS) system to check clients in and out
- Operate cash register and provide accurate change
- Help manage inventory by tracking product stock levels
- Keep the front desk and waiting area clean and organized
- Data entry
- Filing
