Position Summary:
Attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face. Supply information regarding the organization to the general public, clients and customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Receptionist -
- Manages the company's lobby area as well as all common area
- Greets and directs or handles multi-line incoming calls
- Greets and directs or handles visitors
- Makes meeting and travel arrangements
- Sorts and directs mail
- Responsible for accepting payments for walk in and phone in customers for storage and rental property
Clerical Duties -
- Filing
- Data entry
- Faxing documents
- Scanning and e-mailing documents
- Preparing documents for mailing
- Maintains copiers
- Operates standard office equipment
- Sorts, prepares, scans and electronically files documents
- Orders and maintains office supplies
- Handles special administrative projects as directed
Position Requirements:
Education and Training:
- High School diploma
Job Experience:
- 2 years general clerical experience in an office environment
- Previous Experience with multi-line phone
Skills and Competencies:
- Microsoft Office
- Strong Internet research skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Positive attitude
Preferred:
- Experience in customer service
