The Security Technician II serves as the front-line receptionist for the ATEC Command Group (CG) Office, managing visitor access, coordinating executive schedules, and supporting security and administrative functions. This position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and external visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet, screen, and manage access for all visitors to the Command Group controlled area.
Monitor and manage senior leader calendars and coordinate meeting logistics.
Support classified operations by handling SIPR laptops and performing end-of-day security checks (SF 701/702).
Maintain and distribute secure and hard-copy documents for Command Group staff.
Answer and direct phone calls, screen inquiries, and manage internal communications.
Support protocol and event setup for high-level meetings and ceremonies.
Maintain inventory of office supplies and award tracking spreadsheets.
Assist with the Aurora document processing system and coordinate correspondence workflows.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in a professional or executive support role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and scheduling tools.
Experience managing complex calendars and handling sensitive information.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and customer service skills.
Professional demeanor and ability to work with senior leaders and VIPs.
Familiarity with basic security protocols and administrative procedures.
Active secret Clearance.
