Job Title: Receptionist
Full-Time position - 40 hours per week
Salary: $20 - $22 per hour based on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm

Leisure World of Maryland Corporation, located in Silver Spring, Maryland, is a private, age-restricted community comprised of 29 community associations and 8,000 residents. We are seeking a full-time Receptionist (40 hours per week) to provide secretarial and administrative support in the daily operational function of one of our high-rise condominiums on its campus. Working cooperatively with the Property Manager and Administrative Assistant, this position requires the Receptionist to:
- Answers phone calls and checks voice messages.
- Responds to callers' or guests' questions as appropriate.
- Take thorough messages with prompt communication to staff.
- Assists visitors/residents/contractors entering the Management Office.
- Enter maintenance requests and assign tickets as appropriate.
- Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as requested.
- Copy, scan, email and fax documents as needed.
- Perform electronic and hardcopy filing.
- Walk multiple buildings to post and/or deliver documents if needed.
- Program/reprogram key fobs and vestibule phones.
- Create and install directory strips if needed.
- Update and upload documents to the Association website.
- Ensure checklist for ABMs is complete before forwarding to Property Manager
- Log in homeowner pest control requests.
- Program robocall, email and text messages using OneCall.
- Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A high school diploma or general education degree with one or more years of related experience and/or training.
- 1 or more years of related experience and/or training
- Computer literate and knowledgeable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel or comparable software)
- Ability to consistently provide a high level of accurate work delivered in a timely manner
- Ability to prioritize work assignments
- Ability to identify and respond to customer needs in a courteous manner
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
