Responsibilities include but not limited to
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention and succession planning.
- Performance management - resolve employee grievances, and counsel employees and supervisors regarding employee issues, performance gaps, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Partners with management to maintain safety compliance and employee training.
- Risk Management - ensures safety programs are properly implemented, reports, and collaborates with workers' comp carrier to manage claims, and identifies root cause of accidents to prevent recurrence.
- Responsible for administering performance management program
- Advise leadership on hiring and terminations
- Oversee the administration of payroll, employee benefits and FMLA
- Provide guidance on employee behavior and conflict resolution
- Conduct investigations in response to employee complaints
- Partner with leadership to develop succession plans
- Oversees new hire onboarding process
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment law
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Previous HR experience
- Knowledge of processing payroll
- Knowledge of onboarding and intake processes
- Knowledge of general recruiting
- Previous Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility experience (Preferred)
