This Database Administrator role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based and on-premise database systems using Microsoft Azure and SQL Server. The position involves collaborating with development teams to enhance data services, security, and performance while integrating systems across different platforms. Ideal candidates have foundational knowledge of cloud technologies, database management, and networking, with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic, collaborative environment.What You'll be Doing:
Assisting in the architecture and implementationof distributed database systems using cloud services from Microsoft Azure.
Supporting the building, migrating, and testing of cloud-based and on-premise database systems, including Azure SQL and SQL Server.
Collaborating with development teamsto design and implement application and data services and security.
Participating in application migration projects, focusing on optimizing technical reliability and improving application performance.
Integrating with on-premise applications, cloud providers, or other platforms.
Implementing cost-effective solutionsbased on usage, business requirements, and budget.
Participating in off-hours on-call rotation.
What You Bring with You (Qualifications):
Bachelors degreein Computer Science , Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience and technical training.
Basic understanding of cloud technologiesand database management.
Experience or courseworkrelated to cloud services and database technologies.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azureand its database services.
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification.
Experience working in a collaborative environment.
Basic knowledge of software engineering and infrastructure scripting, including source control practices.
Understanding of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalling concepts.
Familiarity with infrastructure automation templatessuch as Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
Understanding how to deploy applicationsin a cloud environment.
Interest in learning about API Gateways.

The pay range for this position is listed below.
$67,000.00 - $102,000.00This pay range represents the minimum and maximum base pay for the position, which is determined by factors such as market data, the qualifications required, the level of responsibilities associated with the role and other roles at this same level. Your specific pay rate within this range will be based on your experience, qualifications, and skills compared to the internal team youll be joining.
