Great Opportunity! Join our team as a Building Office Manager (BOM) in our Skilled Nursing Facility! Location: Rome, NY
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with residents and families to discuss and guide them through their financial obligations.
- Assist with gathering and processing documentation for Medicaid applications.
- Input and maintain accurate census information in both billing and clinical software.
- Oversee the collection of private and income-related payments due to the facility.
- Assist with the insurance authorization process.
- Distribute resident funds and manage financial accounts for residents.
- Ensure that all admission agreements are signed and properly documented.
- Provide additional administrative support and perform other duties as required.
What Were Looking For:
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and HMO processes is a strong plus.
- Ability to meet with residents and families and discuss sensitive financial matters with professionalism and care.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.
