WHY BOX NEEDS YOU

The Recruiting Operations function is critical to the development and evolution of Box's global Talent organization. Our Talent function encompasses recruiting, organizational & talent development, talent programs, coordination, and internal comms. We're looking for a Recruiting Operations Manager to help consolidate and integrate our Recruiting tech stack and processes in the fast-paced era of AI. This self-proclaimed tools, AI and data junkie will lead key tools, data, reporting, and process initiatives for the Talent function at Box. The role is an individual contributor.

This role will help provide a best-in-class talent experience for candidates and Boxers alike through support and enablement of our tech stack that includes Box, Workday, Greenhouse, ModernLoop, FindEm, TalentWall, and more. The role requires deep program management experience, discipline and attention to detail, as well as the ability to scope, lead and deliver a wide range of complex projects, develop business cases, project charters, and provide executive updates and communications. This individual will serve as a strategic thought-partner to the VP of Talent, Recruiting Leadership Team, People Operations, People Analytics, Legal, Sourcing, IT, and key external vendors to build future operating models and ensure that Box is at the forefront of creative approaches to talent acquisition.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support building a world-class Recruiting tech stack and process optimization leveraging Box's own product/tools (including Box AI) as appropriate, and utilizing our operational toolkit regularly and efficiently.

  • Use data to analyze and optimize our talent processes; help identify new tools and technology that fill tech stack gaps, as well as integrations between current tools and Box's own features and functionality, improving Talent team operations.

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational excellence and efficiency in our talent processes (ie offer letters, GDPR requirements, etc) by leveraging tools, systems, reports and data insights.

  • Manage and resource the queue of incoming ops-related requests.

  • Own and iterate on recruiting capacity planning and workload balancing, suggesting ways to flex team members to support changing business needs.

  • Build strong partnerships with cross-functional business groups, Recruiting leadership, and external vendors to ensure efficient enablement and optimal use of tools, data, and processes, while anticipating future trends, needs, and functionalities.

  • Craft detailed project plans and business cases that set the direction of strategic initiatives.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 8+ years of experience in a recruiting or HR function through work experience and education

  • Proven experience in change management, including driving new processes and managing the full lifecycle of tools across the organization - from analysis and selection to implementation, enablement, and transition. Experience managing an ATS transition preferred.

  • Experience with Workday, Greenhouse ATS (preferred), ModernLoop (or other scheduling tools)

  • Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Visier, TalentWall) and the ability to translate recruiting metrics into strategic insights.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Skills and attributes:

  • Applies a high degree of empathy, curiosity, and objectivity to all challenges faced

  • Creative problem-solver, resourceful, and experienced communicating/influencing at all levels of an organization

  • Self-directed, detail-oriented with demonstrated experience in developing and improving processes, as well as understanding HR tech stacks and the HR tech tool landscape

  • Flexible self-starter with a passion for recruiting, and a high ability to tackle ambiguity

  • Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and working styles
