Job Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate our operations in Midwestern and Northeastern Markets in partnership with our Service Providers. This role is crucial in ensuring that our facilities maintenance services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with our company standards and objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, deep understanding of landscape and snow management and operations, and have the ability to build and grow relationships within the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight
- Manage day-to-day operations in the assigned region to ensure Service Providers are performing in accordance with company standards, policies, and client expectations.
- Visit sites routinely under maintenance contracts to ensure service was executed to approved scope and meets company’s quality control standards (ie. Site surveys).
- Client / Service Provider Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and service providers in the region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships by understanding client needs and ensuring our services meet their expectations.
- Respond to and solve issues as they arise in a timely fashion (including after hours).
- Assist with on onboarding new clients and service providers in the assigned region.
- Compliance and Safety
- Ensure all operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies regarding safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Promote a culture of safety within the team, service providers and clients.
- Performance Metrics
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to assess operational performance in the assigned region.
- Implement corrective actions when necessary to ensure company objectives are met.
- Identify opportunities and implement solutions to grow sales and reduce cost.
- Monitor and manage operational budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
- Project Management
- Coordinate large-scale projects between service provider and client’s onsite contact to ensure smooth and timely execution. Some projects will require onsite management.
- Ensure projects are closed out properly to Client’s satisfaction and within budget.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with the Sales and Operations Team to understand project requirements and provide solutions that meet budget and timeline constraints.
- Solve issues and problems out in the field in a timely and professional matter. Some issue may occur after hours and will need to be resolved with urgency.
- Travel will be required, so on very short notice.
- Snow and Ice Management:
- First point of escalation during snow season to ensure sites are properly plowed and iced before, during and after storms.
- From time-to-time, candidate will need to mobilize quickly and assist with snow operations of sites under contract (plowing and salting sites).
