Job Description


Title: Receptionist
Location: Kent, WA
Short term assignment 4 to 6 weeks only
Desired Pay Rate $21.50-$28.75/hr
1st Shift: 6:30am - 3pm

Summary:
This position is responsible for creating positive customer experiences with both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and detail-oriented person with friendly yet discreet and professional demeanor, as well as strong administrative support capabilities.

Functions and Responsibilities
Operate a high-volume, multi-line, computerized telephone switchboard.
Direct calls, communicate messages and provide information to callers while also
greeting, assisting, and directing visitors, including customers, vendors and applicants in
the front-office lobby.
Will perform a variety of detailed office support and data entry duties for various
departments.
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, and assign postage and prepare daily outgoing mail.
Assist with various projects throughout the organization, including faxing, filing, scanning,
coordinating travel arrangements for employees, company event coordination, ordering
lunches and supporting other hospitality requests for meetings, scheduling and organizing
conference rooms and other ad hoc projects as requested.

Advanced user of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Demonstrated ability to tactfully deal with a variety of situations and people and use
discretion in handling confidential information.
Requires proficient written and verbal communication skills; prefer experience working
with customers either on the phone or in person.
The ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Physical Requirements
Sit, stand and/or walk for 8 hours per day. Occasionally lift items that could be up to 25 pounds.
